Martin’s approach to filmmaking is fueled by his fascination with the unpredictable occurrences in a structured world finding compassion in the most afflicted, contrary and contradictory beings.

His work as a cinematographer spans diverse fields of fiction, advertising, music videos, documentary and arthouse yet his passion with curating the visual components of light, composition, and camera movement to express something authentic, personal and honest about the human condition unifies his work.

Having worked with up and coming as well as established filmmakers in systems around the world he believes each project is a unique and original idea, and fostered through communication and collaboration creates a visual language specifically tailored to each project.
